The Quiche with a flaked crust is probably the best I’ve ever had. We tried several items and all are world class baked goods. They sell out fast.

I had a cold brew with milk & a croissant with the peach blackberry basil galette. Very flaky and buttery. Kind of expensive but I love the small business vibes. The pizza was a specialty item apparently I didn’t get it but I snapped a pic for the review! Will be back. Coffee was fresh even chilled. So many different pasties, cakes, danishes, etc. service was attentive.

I found this bakery through my favorite cafe, where the cookies were so delicious I had to ask where they came from. Visiting for the first time today, I grabbed some pastries and tried them on a bench outside. Wow—no exaggeration, they were incredible! I’ve been to famous downtown bakeries, but they don’t even compare. The Kouign Amann was perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. I haven’t been this impressed by a bakery in ages, and now I want to try everything on the menu! And if you can’t make it early in the morning, you can preorder on their website!

I was introduced to Bresnan Bread and Pastry by a local downtown McKinney artist friend, and it's now my favorite go-to place for specialty loaves of sourdough. Whether I'm having a special dinner or just wanting to bless someone and pay it forward with a loaf, Bresnan is the place to go! My favorite is the green chili cheese sourdough. You can't go wrong with any of them, and the pastries are magnificent!

I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner. My family loves bread. In fact my wife has made over 20 loaves of sourdough using our own starter and friends starters.

Yet, we had the most amazing sourdough batard from this place today. The crunchy exterior crust followed by a thoroughly sour and tangy soft interior with perfect consistency and webbing. Making bread is incredibly difficult to do because of temperature, humidity, and sourdough starter conditions. We know it because we have struggled to make it ourselves. I think it’s because of our own experience that we’ve come to appreciate how good the bread is here. We’re definitely going back for sure!!!

If your eyes are closed and then bite into of any of their pastries, you could easily believe when you opened your eyes you will be at one of Thomas Keller's properties, like Bouchon - it is that good. No stretch of truth.

The three adult staff workers matched the quality of the pastries...which made it all the more enjoyable.

Although it is take-out only, if it is a decent weather day (like it was yesterday), there are benches and places to sit in close proximity for an al fresco dining experience.

You can tell the staff put their all into their product and it comes through in each bite. Congrats to a job very well done.
