Working in Moffat, I came across this bakery, honestly the best food I've eaten from a sandwich shop/bakery.
Excellent choice, everything's fresh daily.
Tried lots of different items and cakes over the 4 weeks I was there, couldn't fault a thing.
Ham salad in the sub roll is a meal in itself, just see my photos xxx

An absolutely fantastic old school bakery! I adore how traditional it is! Every time I'm in Moffat, I'm requested to bring back some baked good from here, usually an iced bun! Such a pity there's nothing gluten-free, but is fantastic for those that can have gluten!

Travelling back home after visiting Harris and Lewis and we had a stop over on the outskirts of Moffat. Was recommended this bakers by the accommodation we stayed at.
The food is lovely and wanted to bring more home than I did, however due to the lady that served us we were scared to ask for anything else. Never come across anyone so rude with no customer service skills what so ever. You asked for anything and the rude tone and eye rolls from her.
If you don’t like working with general public change career.
The young girl was lovely and I could hear how pleasant she was to her customer. £28 spent and could have been at least £50 but not with the tone and terrible attitude from the server. We felt very uncomfortable

I see this is not the first comments about bad customer service.

Lovely little authentic old bakers, so many things to choose from, we bought 1x fruit slice, 1 empire biscuit, 1x shortbread round and 1x glass bottle of maines raspberryade. One of the best empires I’ve had, highly recommend.

Woman was impatient behind counter as I wanted multiple items, you'd think she would be happy im giving the bakery more money but oh well, asked for a plain pie she didn't know what that was, empire was dry, and the rolls were brick hard.

Didn’t get a chance to take any pictures but the food was amazing. Over the course of the weekend we tried there pizza’s, steak pies, sausage rolls, chocolate eclairs and cream donuts and honestly they were proper old fashioned traditional food. Very tasty and the staff were friendly. Will deffo be back when we next visit.

Great little Bakery, huge selection of cakes, it was hard to pick one so I had two! Friendly and patience staff (it did take me a few min to pick). Would definitely stop here again.

Staff friendly and cakes and rolls ok but for price nothing to get too excited about, the filled rolls are definitely not worth money and got boiled egg rolls that came with 4 little egg slices that were lost on roll, might as well have just bought a buttered roll. Still looking for the strawberries on the strawberry tarts. Definitely won't be back.
