The shop itself is so cute and there are so many delicious looking cupcakes, cakes, cookies and pies! I ordered the banana cake for my husband's birthday which turned out great. It's almost like a banana bread with frosting.
There is parking behind the shop specifically for icing on the cake customers.

I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my wedding and everything was delicious. The banana is my favorite! Their icing really melts in your mouth. All the guests said they were the best cupcakes they ever had.

This place is always so good. They recently switched ownership and you can’t even tell because the quality and taste has stayed consistent. The baked goods are always excellent and they have a bunch fun items. Hard recommend the cupcakes

Fantastic place to get sweets. Cookies, cakes, all freshly made. Highly recommended. There is one city bench outside otherwise it is take out.

Great selection of everything-cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, etc. Everything looked so good it was hard to make a choice! Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are generous. The service was fast and organized, so almost no waiting on a busy Saturday. Will definitely go back!

Such a delicious bakery! The banana cake is a must. It's moist and the icing is the best. The carrot cake was out of this world. I also bought the Eminem and Snickerdoodle cookies. They were incredible too. This was my 1st time going to Icing on the Cake and can't wait to be back.
The only thing I didn't like and I feel the bakery can do better at is that every single slice of cake was wrapped in plastic. It must be because they are trying to conserve the freshness of the cake but it just feels incredibly wasteful and unnecessary. I'd be as happy if the slices of cake are put in paper boxes or biodegradable plastic wrap? Just a comment. This bakery is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just trying to help making it even better 🙂 thank you!

GRAB A TICKET FIRST FROM THE RIGHT WHEN ENTERING.
We were standing close to the display waiting for a worker to help us because no one told us to grab a ticket. I understand the worker outside managing capacity may have forgotten to inform, but I also didn’t want to be rude standing around on accident. I recommend a worker behind the counter to ask if we had a ticket, so we can realize sooner. Yes, it gets busy, but not everyone knows the drill.
We just grabbed Dark Chocolate Brownie and Bread Pudding. Both were good, but of course they were sweet. I liked the crunch on the brownie with every bite (chocolate chips and crust top), it makes the dense brownie easier to eat. The bread pudding was dense which I think is what it’s supposed to be. I just wished there was a crunch for the bread pudding too. Brownie was wrapped in plastic wrap while the bread pudding was just out-and-about in the paper bag. I wished I knew so I could wrapped it sooner to retain freshness and prevent the pudding bar from touching the wrapped brownie (sticky).

Wonderful bakery with so many goodies, some vegan friendly options too. They have been around in LG for a long time, with a new owner in place it's just the same high-quality product, great service, and friendly staff.
Hats off to the former owner, I'm glad you found a great fit for your legacy to live on.
