Situated in the beautiful North Cotwolds landscape, these impressive ruins are a must visit if in the area or passing by.
The ruins of the Cloisters is the centre piece.
Sadly suffered as with many others by Henry V111 "Dissolution of Monasteries " policy.
Parking available, a nice little museum to tour and learn the abbeys history.

A lovely ruin with historical information, with a small shop & museum, worth a visit for an hour. Very friendly team and they do tours if you want. We just enjoyed the ambience in our packed day.

I enjoyed my visit very much. Interesting exhibits as well as beautiful ruins. Although I walked around without the available audio guide, it was well worth a trip. And a short distance up the road is a nice place for refreshments and some food.

Warm and enthusiastic welcome from the staff, the site isn't too big so expect to spend about 60 minutes to see all especially if you are listening to the free audio guide which are definitely recommended
There is plenty of parking and benches for picnics, no on site cafe so bring your own food and drink

Important historical site tucked away, as the monks preferred, amidst rolling hills and fields of flowers.
Nice visitor centre and small museums with some beautifully preserved relics.

As English Heritage members it's free, but if you're not a member, £12.30 an adult seems pretty steep for what is here. Not a lot left of the buildings themselves, some arches and low walls, and that's about it. With that said the audio guide is very comprehensive, and there is lots of signage. Some very interesting artifacts in the museum and the lady at the front desk is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Loved the visit today. Very quiet; person on site was so helpful and recommended somewhere local for coffee too and the church. Well done for remaining open at this time of year. Much appreciated.
