My daughter and I stayed at Herberg Bo Temps as part of a WWII Battle Field tour. The Inn is amazing! Our room was incredibly spacious. The meals were outstanding, Bob and Evelyn were incredible hosts, and the whole area is beautiful. Bob is a Battlefield tour guide, so if you're looking for a tour of Battlefields in the area, this is the palce you need to be. Bob is an OUTSTANDING tour guide! We did the Grandmenil Tour, the Joachim Peiper Tour, and the Bastogne Tour. I highly recommend Herberg Bo Temps for an incredibly comfortable place to stay during your visit to the Ardennes!!

A stay at Herberg Bo Temps is definitely a five-star experience! Bob and Eveline are wonderful hosts and create a great atmosphere for weary travelers. The rooms/baths are clean and comfortable, the lounge is a great gathering place in between meals, and the community room where meals are served is a wonderful area to gather, eat, and relax. Bob is a wonderful tour guide interested in all aspects of WWII, and particularly the Battle of the Bulge.

My stay in Bo Temps was more than excellent! I came here with a bigger group for a team building and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The rooms were amazingly decorated and cleaned, the common areas wonderful for us to hang out altogether, and the area very cozy with beautiful landscapes. The service by the hosts was forthcoming and they offered us more than we had asked for. I can only recommend it!!?

Thank you Bob & Eveline for being the warmest part of our week in GermanyBelgium despite waking to snow in May! We felt at home the minute we were greeted by Eveline & couldn’t wait for the delicious dinner we could smell cooking in the kitchen. (It was fabulous!) There was a lovely living room to share travel stories & pre dinner drinks with the other guests & it was relaxing to be in a home after a week of hotels. |The next (after a wonderful breakfast with fresh baked goods), we took an all day tour with Bob in the Ardennes region. He had researched my dads service records before we arrived and was able to show us the exact spot where he was wounded in January 1945. What a remarkable experience! Bob is an enthusiastic history buff and he and his friends in the region provide a tremendous service keeping the individual stories alive of those served. |So again, thank you for sharing your charming home with us and all the time you spent making sure we had a meaningful experience. Your food and lodging and company were delightful. |Thanks too Bob for arranging snow and fog in May so it would feel like the winter of ‘44-45, nicely done!

Bob and Eveline are perfect hosts. Their charming, country home provides spacious areas for guests to enjoy: two sitting rooms, the breakfast room, the garden, and of course your own room. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Bob provided a memorable and moving battle tour. We can't thank him enough for personalizing the tour to trace a family member's steps. Staying at Bo Temps was delightful and the countryside is lovely.

A high school buddy and I are WW2 buffs, and we just got back from a long-talked about, and finally fulfilled 10-day trip to the Ardenne's. We decided to stay at Bob and Eveline's BoTemps guest house, and what a great decision ! It's an extremely charming, old stone house on a quiet country lane. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. || Breakfast was more than fulfilling with eggs, fruit, granola, yogurt, breads, croissants, various hams and cheeses, and coffee, tea, milk and orange juice to wash it all down with. After breakfast, we only ate only one other meal each day ! || The den/salon was a great place to wind down each evening, with a fridge offering some delicious local beer offerings. They also have wine and port available. They have an "honor" system to keep track of everything yourself, with their pricing seeming to be pretty close to retail cost ... not "bar pricing".|| We did 2 full days of tours with Bob, and I have to say that I think it was the best part of the trip. It was enlightening to see the towns of Manhay, Trois Ponts, Cheneux, Stoumont, Stavelot, LaRoche, Malmedy, La Gleize on a tactical level and learn about the days during the Battle of the Bulge ... one's that you never hear about outside of those around Bastogne. Bob's a wonderful researcher, and very personable. It's amazing to compare WW2 BOTB photos with the exact same houses and other structures. We actually helped Bob find a house, portrayed in a picture of American soldiers captured by German in Stoumont. Did I mention that Bob was personable ? ... and not a dry stodgy narrator || I'll definitely be back, and without a doubt, I'd stay at the same place. Among our other house guests, was a guy(with brothers this time) who was making his 5th or 6th trip ... and back with Bob and Eveline. I think that that speaks volumes in the treatment you get !|||| Thank you both Bob and Eveline for everything, you're tremendous hosts and a joy to spend time with !||||||Keith

Just returned from Belgium and a short stay at the cozy B and B with our lovely hosts, Bob and Eveline. Very gracious couple. Had a very comfortable stay at there lovely and we'll loved home. Great conversation, delicious breakfast and a wonderful afternoon in the garden, with the luck of sunshine and warm weather as welcome. Our main goal was a personalized tour of the area for WWII Battle of the Bulge. Bob, a local expert, provided research and tour of the area specific to the army division, 82 nd airborne. Father was captured in the area and Bob took us to location of his capture and journey. He has great enthusiasm for the history of these events, a wealth of information. Personal and profound experience. A Local resident is currently in process of completion of a fantastic museum dedicated to the Battle of the Bulge. We had an opportunity to see the museum nearing completion in Manhay. The museum is remarkable and brings this battle to life. Planned opening late fall, 2018. Highly recommend to those interested in WWII hx, lovely hosts and lovely accommodation.
