They used fresh in fresh ingredients to make their bread and pastry items. Definitely reflected in the price but it definitely worth the money. I love their items more than Kamdo bakery. My go to is the roll cake and 皮蛋酥. The filling of the 皮蛋酥 is very fresh and not overly seasoned/too sweet.

We ordered this cake in mango for my mom’s 80th - it was light, fluffy chiffon, not too sweet, beautifully whipped cream between layers, and great ripe mango pieces. The service was excellent and it was delivered to the restaurant in a well secured box and on time. Maybe the bad reviews are on certain flavors but this cake knocked it out of the park with decoration, design, flavor, texture, and customer service. It brought so much joy to the night. Thank you La Patisserie.

Best Asian luxury bakery and pretty reasonably priced well compared to Anna’s! And though I do like Anna’s for their Black Forest with jelly filling, Patossetie is more creative.

Nice box too, includes candle for the birthday occasions, nice touch!

Plus their baked items nice too.

Loses star for no credit card acceptance.

The bakery made this custom fruits cake makes to order with real fresh rose was an elegant cake. Wish they could use a little bit more rippen fruits inside for more sweet, gentle and delicate taste. Happy and will order in near future!

Updated review: When we entered the store, the employee who was by the door glared at us and made us feel unwelcome. There were four women working behind the counter. We went to the counter and asked for the Green Tea Mousse cake. One of the women behind the counter told us that it would not be ready until 6pm (we were there around 3pm). Then we asked for the Taro cake. Another woman told us that the cake was sold an hour ago. Then they tried hard to sell us the Chocolate Cake and the Mango Pudding Cake but we told them we wanted the Chestnut cake. Then the woman asked me if I wanted the 'Happy Birthday' chocolate piece on top of the cake. I said, "No, thanks." Then she insisted unclearly, and I insisted that I did not want the chocolate piece.

We went to get the Chicken pie, Curry Beef Puff Pastry, Paper Cup Sponge Cake, and the Cheese Sausage Bun from the shelf. The woman behind the counter told me to put the items on the counter when I was walking towards the counter. She did not need to tell me that because I was going to do that obviously. Then the cashier told us the total amount of purchase in English. It was weird because we were speaking Cantonese all along. The woman asked us if we needed a bag and we said no. Then she said she could put the purchases for us into our bag. It was unusual for them to do that since there were only four items. Also, her co-worker who stood behind us said, "Sorry, we did not serve you well." It was odd for her to say that. They tried to make us look bad (as if we were very demanding). If they really felt bad, they could simply give us a VIP card instead of making unnecessary gestures and saying meaningless words.

The chestnut paste in the Chestnut cake was tasteless, and the sponge cake layers and the cream were not sweet at all - they tasted like flour. The cake did not taste like a cake and we discarded half of it. Also, they ruined the cream of the side of the cake as shown in the photos. They should be careful when handling cakes because cakes are for special occasions.

Review: They put a thin sponge layer in the middle of the London Fog Cheesecake which was odd (Usually, the cheesecake slice is just made of cheese with the crust at the bottom). Also, the jelly on top of the cheesecake was unnecessary because it was tasteless. The glaze for the Peach Mousse Cake was too sweet and the mousse tasted artificial. The Walnut Mocha Rum Cake had too many walnuts that overwhelmed the rum. The Vietnamese Coffee Cake tasted light; there was no taste of condensed milk. The Chocolate Truffle Cake tasted like a block of frozen cream and there was a piece of nectarine in the middle for some reason. They should indicate that on the name tag. The mangoes for the Fresh Mango Cake tasted sour. Overall, the cake slices were disappointing.

Review: The black sesame cheesecake had minimal cheese taste. There was only black sesame taste and it was surprisingly crustless. The texture was thawed.

The black forest cake was bitter which was odd, and they had mostly cherry jello inside with few cherry bits instead of using chunks of cherries. The server told us it had minimal liquor but it was not included in the ingredient list on the name card.

They had two kinds of individual chocolate truffle cakes - one was a dome and one was a roll slice. When we asked for chocolate truffle cake, the server did not confirm which one and she just gave us the roll slice. She should have confirmed with us first. It tasted horrible - it was chewy, thick and stale. It did not taste like a cake at all. It seemed that the server wanted to sell this product because it was stale, rather than confirming with us which chocolate truffle cake we wanted.

The place have a lot of very delicious and tasty options, they only accept cash or debit, this time i tried a lemon bread that was bland but beside that all what we have tried before is really good, sometimes the attitude of the cashier ir not that friendly and a bit rude but its just one lady, the other ones are always very nice

I asked the staff whether this cake is made with plant-based butter or dairy butter. She had a sour expression and replied cream butter. I asked if it was dairy butter, and she said yes. After trying it at home, I felt it didn't taste like dairy butter at all, and it wasn't good, Never go back.

The worst chestnut cake I have ever had!
I used to order cakes from them before. It’s been a couple years since I ordered from them last time so I decided to try it again. The chestnut got a very weird taste and it was bitter and the cream was butter cream instead of fresh whipped cream. We ended up throwing the rest of it away. I should have got it from tnt. A chestnut cake from anywhere would be better than this one. This would be the last time getting birthday cake from them. No more!
