We ordered our son’s first birthday cake from here and had a great experience. The ordering process is very detailed which makes it easy to explain the different aspects of the flavour and the decorations on the cake.

If you’re ordering buttercream icing, note that the cake can have a very generous layer of it (it was upto 1-2 inches on ours). This makes the cake dramatically sweeter and we wish we knew it before we ordered. So, if you’re not a fan of it, would be worth checking with the team beforehand.

We had also ordered bear shaped butter cookies as party favours and loved how they turned out. We had given them just a picture and they did an amazing job with it!

We’ve also had other pastries and they have a great selection of French pastries.

Saw this Burnt Almond Cake on TikTok and I wanted to try it—my husband loves amaretto so this was a perfect birthday cake to satisfy his sweet tooth. It’s 2 layers of vanilla cake, 1 layer of chocolate cake, filled with an amaretto custard and cover with candied almonds ? YUM!

I ordered the day before over the phone and picked up the next day with no issue. They have candles in the shop too which saved me a trip to another store!

I was able to taste the fruit tart from La Patisserie because someone got it for their birthday party. I am not sure what the price was or how the ambiance of La Patisserie was but I can attest to the taste of the fruit tart! The fruit tart is obviously insanely aesthetically pleasing and looks beautiful. The flavor was somewhat of a let down. All of the fruits had almost no flavor due to none of them being in season, but I still hoped they would have more flavor. The actual tart as well with all the cream was not sweet or tasty or anything. I was very dissapointed with the actual taste of the dessert. The crust of the tart was insanely hard and dry and was again not sweet. I was not happy with the tart and it may have been from my friends personal preferences for his cake but I still would have liked some changes to make the tart more tasty. Though the flavor was a letdown it looked beautiful and I want to try more pastries from La Patisserie to see if my assessment is correct!

I ordered my wedding cake from here and was very happy with the cake. I got a 2 tiered 6 and 9 inch of white cake with raspberry mouse filling with raspberry jam and covered in buttercream.

I love cake and it was one of the highlights of my wedding day!

Only downside was it was a bit out of my price range as I had paid $300 for 30 servings but I was pleased with the cake at least. I would order from here again!

Order a guava cake for a birthday. Heard it was one of the best. Unfortunately, the cake portion was very dry. Not moist or fluffy, the cream helped a bit. Not worth the price and driving 40 minutes to pick-up. Very disappointed.

Got a custom cake for a friend's 70th birthday party. They worked from a couple of pictures and did an amazing job. The comments from other guests was " it looks so much like him (and the dog) that it was d spooky.

And the cake was delicious

Not cheap but worth it!!!!

This bakery was neat, well &lit, clean, and inviting.
The selection was all yummy and the lady behind the counter was pleasant.
It may seem trivial but I always remove a star if cleaning supplies are left within customer view. In this case, the wet floor sign on the dry floor hurts the look.
I would use this bakery again as it was impressive.

Dandelion

Their persian Napoleon cake is to die for! Extraordinary even with lots of butter cream and less layers. It's creamy and not overly sweet. I loved it!
The almond burnt cake is on the sweet side, moist inside and creamy outside with roasted almonds. Eclair is super rich, with tons of cream as well. Le Tulipe fruit bowl is so beautiful that I can stare at it all day. 🙂
