Great coffee shop and bakery. I ordered my standard quad cappuccino, dry and the barista did a great job with it. Also picked up quite a few pastries and baked goods for my group. I tried the quiche lorraine (delicious), almond croissant (delicious) and the bacon, cheese, and egg kolaches (also delicious.). The store has lots of character and great service. Parking may get tight on busy mornings but I had no issues getting a spot at 830 am on a Saturday.

Cute cafe and bakery. Lots of choices for pastries and good tea options which I always appreciate as a non coffee/matcha drinker. Mascarpone tart was really good, perfect balance of sweetness. The atmosphere was very charming and I love the plates/mugs.

Must share my experience. Ordered a pecan pie for Thanksgiving (wanted to avoid getting one from the grocery store, as those are not great). What caught my interest was the description that theirs wasn't too sweet. Was willing to pay extra for something homemade and special. It was the most expensive pecan pie I ever purchased - $50. I expected it to be worth the price... It most certainly wasn't. In fact, it was the worst I've tried. The crust was too thick, too dry, and there was too much crust and not enough filling. The pie was too sweet and not enough pecans in the filling. Absolutely nothing in that pie cost $50... But the worse yet was the service. The shop turned out to be quite racist. The fact that there was no diversity in the shop wasn't the issue for me. What was the issue is how diversity is treated when it comes to give them business. The shop is small. I was 3rd in line behind a white woman and a white man, waiting to pick up my order I placed over the phone. Cashier was fetching orders one by one. So, I, the foreign looking one, was waiting long enough to be noticed. While I waited, and as my turn was approaching, a white couple came in behind me. As my turn rolls around, the cashier (all store people are white) looks over my head, completely ignoring me, and asks the couple BEHIND me "Can I help you?" I had to wave my arms in the air loudly telling him that I am next. Terrible experience...

Their Quiche is amazing!!! I originally just swing by to grab a box of pastries but decided to stay for a quiche and did not regrets. Oh man it is so soft, fluffy and flavorful. I forgot the name but it have bacon and cheese in it. Although the parking is very limited but not a big deal, ill park on the moon for their quiche haha.

One of our favorite options when it comes to pre ordered cakes, good balance of sweetness, texture and nicely decorated

The service is usually very good and there is that small business feel so you know what you get is fresh and carefully made.

My recent purchase:
They have seasonal cakes so my wife got me the gingerbread cake for my birthday with cream cheese frosting which was nicely decorated to the scavenger hunt theme. What was unexpected for me was the cake did have a somewhat of a gingerbread texture(very firm) if I knew I would have suggested the eggnog. But overall the flavors were on point.

I have tried some of the pastries in the past and they overall are good.

Will update my review as I try more.

A really nice, really quaint, bakery and coffee place in the Lakewood area.

We tried out their kolaches, their quiche and their croissants. All excellent.

And the coffee options are pretty good too

The small staff is very friendly and helpful.

It’s wonderful to see such, small, local, fantastic, coffee, and pastry places in Dallas

The Grain bowl salad was on point. The flavors were perfect and the portion size was filling. Will be back to grab another one of these gems soon!! They also had a special corn cookie that was quite yummy as well. I would have never thought to try it but my brother said trust me you'll love it! Needless to say I did!!

Great bakery. Have been a loyal customer for a very long time and have had no issues until recently when I got charged a 12% service charge(tip) when I purchased pre packaged self serve items from there store. The server explained that they've implemented a new procedure. I personally always tip 20% when I dine in and order through a waiter. Why the service charge if I'm not dining in?.... I'm facilitating the entire process. I think you need to re- evaluate your new policy. Any thoughts?
