After looking at 3 other bakeries, I found Nadines Bakery on line. I called and spoke to a friendly voice, indicated what I needed and was told I needed to go in to order. I did go in the following day where I was promptly greeted by a young lady, friendly and referred to someone else who may have been having a stressed morning. I was told I couldn't order my cake because they were booked. (I just needed the cake, no set up). I did let them know that I was told that I could order it and that's why I was there.
I was able to order for pick up. This young lady's mood lightened up and the rest of my interaction with her was much more pleasant as we talked. I also purchased one of their cherry ? Danish. The Danish was very very good!
PICK UP DAY: the cake was in the refrigerator and it was beautiful. I was anxious to taste it. It was boxed with care with instructions on how to carry it, where not to put it during transport.
Went to the venue with the cake. Had dinner, cake was brought out and it was a big hit! The cake was absolutely perfectly delicious ?. IT'S A BOY ?
I would recommend if you need a cake, cookies, turnovers, etc., that's where I'll be going! Not sure on all the prices. I was a little sticker shocked at the price of the cake, but in hindsight, it worked out just great.

UPDATE: Ordered a space themed babyshower cake from Nadine's. Marble cake , 3 layers, decorated and it was a big hit at the party. Once again, thank you to the staff at Nadine's!

The cake was amazing, absolutely delicious. We got the red velvet with the cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting. The filling and frosting was a bit too sweet but none of the kiddos complained. The bread was moist, and delicious.

The team was great to work with, and worked with me to design the cake and answered all my questions regarding the flavors and fillings. I added the cars on my own at home.

Pick up was seamless, they helped me put it in my car too.

Nadine’s has always been one of the best bakeries in town. They have such talented decorators and even with just a phone call they were able to make the perfect cake decor. Their cakes are always moist and delicious.

So I ordered 3 star wars cakes. One death Star, one R2D2 and a sheet cake with Luke Skywalker battling Darth Vader. $480.00 worth of cake.They were AMAZING the detail and time put into ALL of these cakes was OUTSTANDING!!! I had my mom dress up in a storm trooper costume and wheel them out as star wars theme music played.
Add far as the cake itself, maybe one to two starts, the taste wasn't very good, a box cake or even a 2 day old Fry's cake tastes ALLOT better, the stuff in the middle was horrible!!! The kids were even scraping it off(it was caramel flavored or supposed to be) it tasted like card board and there was way too much of it!!! The fondant tasted like that boxes kind from Walmart that's outdated. Add far as customer service... If this cake and this birthday want as important as it was I would have left within minutes of walking in to this place. The employees are very rude, I felt like I was imposing and when asking questions or wanting someone to help you you're ignored, meet with a snotty attitude and left to wait for long periods of time. Finally the one person who helped me was pleasant, helpful and did a great job on the cake decorating. When I picked up the cakes the atmosphere was better and I even got help carrying the cakes to the car. If you want a good looking cake then this is the place but if you want a good tasting cake... This is NOT the place to go.

Flavor was okay. Honestly did not taste like much. I did it vanilla with Oreo dream and I really didn’t taste any “Oreo” anything. The cream was a gray color with very little if any flavor & same for the cake itself. It was somewhat dry and we had the cake same day as pick up. All in all they did an okay job, but I don’t know I just don’t get that wow factor that I would like from a bakery. Could get better from Safeway.

I ordered a cake from Nadine’s Bakery. I considered it a relatively simple cake compared to others I have ordered before moving here. Unfortunately, the design is very crooked and uneven. I paid $60 + a $10 tip for the 8 inch cake. I asked for the borders to be blue, they offered to fix it, but I just took it as it was. Some people would be more upset, but I tried to not make a big deal out of it and just be happy I could afford the cake since others can’t. As you can see in the photo the eyes are not center and are two different sizes. I was skeptical going with Nadine’s, but I read through reviews and decided to give them a shot. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for cakes. The ordering processes was also a little difficult and the customer service was very very minimal.

Ordered a marble cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate whip frosting. As always, was delicious. Just the right amount of sweet, super light cake. Ordered the round cake for 30 people, was about $40. Way less expensive than I thought it would be.

The bakers at Nadine’s are absolute magicians. My daughter wanted a white tiger cake for her birthday and they completely delivered! It helps that everyone who works here is super nice, too.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband. A chocolate with chocolate mousse. It was beautifully decorated. The cake itself was very disappointing. The chocolate was cheap , frosting was greasy and tasteless. We tried once and will never be back. Safeway makes better cakes by far
