My best friend took me here for my birthday, and we had a wonderful time! The afternoon tea was delightful! I loved the strawberry tea and vanilla black tea with all of the delicious treats — especially the quiche and scones! Oh, and the optional coffee mocktail was incredible!

The atmosphere was perfect. They played calming music, and it wasn’t too loud. I was able to talk to my friend and just really enjoy the experience.

The staff were amazing. They were very attentive and kind. I would definitely go back!

An amazing afternoon tea place. The tea's were flavorful and unique. The small tasting pairings were amazing. The service was great, and if you enjoy a specific tea, you can bag some tea leaves up and take some home. I'll definitely be coming back when I want a relaxing afternoon tea atmosphere.

Went for holiday tea with my friends. Beautifully decorated place! Very small parking lot. All the teas were AMAZING! The portions were a little small but there was plenty of different courses provided within the tea tasting menu so we didn't leave hungry. The only downside was that a lot of the foods leaned towards the sweet/dessert side and I think we would have preferred maybe 1-2 substitutions towards the savory side.

Absolutely amazing experience! We chose to sit in front of their big picture window and watch this little cat nap on and off. The food is so flavorful with many dimensions. Plus, the little details really create an impressive presentation. We tried the blackberry basil, earl gray vanilla, and passion fruit teas - All paired very well with the treats. I recommend trying this fantastic spot because we will definitely be going back!

A very elegant experience. The care and talent of the chefs are evident in every bite. My entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic. I enjoyed the coursed meal with the peach champagne tea, which I highly recommend. Not only was the passion present in every bite, but the flavor complimented each other so well through every course. The food and drink are amazing, but the atmosphere of the tea house is very much resembling a French chateau in the countryside.

Very pretty place and nice service but the food is disappointing. You get some soup and small appetizer then the tower. Portion is really small. I have to eat something else after this. As 75 dollars before tax abs gravity,it is not worth it. The tea is okay but I don't like too much flavors in the tea. The scone is cold, bread is not impressive. I don't see too much thought being put in the desserts. Afternoon tea should be not just the atmosphere but also the food.

My mother and I have often lamented the lack of elegant-but-comfortable venues serving afternoon tea in DFW. Inevitably, the few places offering it insist on calling it "high tea" and often encourage guests to play dress up in hats, gloves and feather boas. No thanks. Having experienced countless (authentic) afternoon teas across England, Scotland and Wales, Mom and I agree that this family business in the little yellow house gets it completely right, in an elegant yet unpretentious setting and with the most gracious service imaginable. Everything, from the warm welcome upon entering through the small but lush garden to the incredibly fresh, inventive and scrumptious food, was perfect. Chatting with the chef (and his mom!) was also an absolute delight. Afternoon tea at Potpourri Boulangerie was one of the best things we've done in a long while, and we will most definitely be back!

We came for a birthday tea. For $65 each (have to pay $40 deposit when you make a reservation) you get four courses, a tea tower (with 4 items each) and a small end course. You also get 3 pots of tea per party, and can mix flavors. I enjoyed my time here. It took about 2 hours from start to finish but when you have great food and good conversation, the time flies. My favorite course was the quinoa salad with burnt sugar and the peach champagne was my favorite tea. The service is amazing and I found out this is a family business, I love that. I will definitely come at least once a season to try the seasonal tea time. You can buy pastries and tea from here as well. Ample parking right in front. Everything we had was vegetarian, great if you don't eat every kind of meat. Highly recommend.
