There are ants in their display case and on the pastries!
I told the gal working at the time and she said they were aware and there was nothing they could do about it. I told her I would remove everything from the case, wipe everything down and try to get rid of them. I have been a resident of Sebastopol my entire life, I understand the ants are bad with the rain but you have to at least try to get them off your food.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this is truly disgusting and I hope ownership/ management takes this issue seriously and takes action to get their store cleaned up. Do better Sarmentine.

I stopped by for the first time and tried a few different pastries and a coffee.
The coffee comes in a single use cup; no option of a mug. My raspberry braised croissant and pastry were way too crispy and over-baked.
I must say that their bacon quiche slice was a 10/10. It was super moist and not overcooked at all.

I grew up in France and I can tell you this is one of the best bakery I’ve been in California! Their pastries are delicious I love the Tropezienne and the Paris Brest, those are better than some bakery back in France.

Finally a strong coffee in Napa and Sonoma. The red eye is everything you want in a coffee and get ready to not be able to resist the pastries.

I did a local poached pear tartlet, my friend did a chocolate croissant and our other friend had the gluten free pavlova. Everything was fantastic.

Amazing spot! Delicious breads. Ate more croissants than I could afford and STILL took home two loaves of $6 bread. If you have kids, just leave them in the front to play and enjoy some french carb deliciousness.

Used to be consistent, currently far from. They need to figure out their consistency issue with pastries. The variation batch to batch is now inferior to anything they did months ago, and it used to be better.

Acoustics need work, my orders been misunderstood at their actual bakery multiple times. Product going out to other coffee shops and within their location however has become erratic, too cooked, undercooked, flat, fluffy, frosted hot and soaked in/ frosted cold, tastes like extract strongly or not, either overcooked dry and no custard in the raisin pastry or it’s better and moist with the custard….

It’s unfortunate because it used to be spot on …
