I tried the osmanthus tea and it was so good that I ended up buying a tin to take home. The owner was really nice and took the time to help me choose, which I really appreciated since I couldn’t decide on my own.

The only downside is that there’s no place to sit, but the quality of tea and the friendly service more than make up for it.

A wonderful place - the owner is really nice and kind and the tea is excellent.

However - the prices for 100g of tea are around 4 times as high as “Formocha”, and the quality of the tea (as far as I can tell) is the same: both is highest-quality premium lose leaf tea.

I feel a bit uneasy now having paid the high prices here and later finding out that I could have paid muuuuuch less at Formocha.

I got Matcha Ice cream from them and it was so GOOD! The owners were so nice and helpful, they explained to me about different Matcha powders that they have and I will for sure come back to buy Matcha powder from them.

I randomly saw this place on the street and I want to try out. The price is a little bit expensive but im not quite sure about this comment lol. I bought matcha ice-cream for takeaway and it is so good!! It does not taste artificial or sweet but would love if it is more creamy. This place is really a hidden gem in amsterdam since I haven’t heard about them before (i have been living here for 2 years). Will definitely come back!

I had a lovely time here. I had a gyokuro and a matcha ice cream. The gyokuro was delicious, and tasting how the flavour changes with each steep was wonderful. The matcha ice cream was perfect, not too sweet, just right. It was lovely talking about tea with the owner/shop keeper, who is very knowledgeable and educates you about the wonders of tea. I can highly recommend this place to any true tea lover.

As much as I would like to highly rate this family-run business, the price and quality equation here is really far off. The Taiwanese oolong that I bought from them was the equivalent of 1 euro per gram. A similar quality oolong from Postcard Teas in Mayfair (London), who also spend a painstaking amount of time sourcing teas from the far East, is 0.26 GBP per gram, so Tea's Delight is approx 3x as expensive. To be clear, that works out to about 5 euros per tea experience if you use 5-6 grams per sitting. Furthermore, the Lishan tea which I bought could not be brewed past the 2nd brew, it was flavourless and dull. There are many better options in Amsterdam for higher quality tea (such as Moy Chay on the Rozengracht) where you don't get ripped off.

Wide range of high quality teas and teaware. Most of the prices are higher than average, but can be good fit for the right people.
They have tea take-away.
It's not possible to enjoy your tea in the shop (no tables, etc.)
